SO- have you noticed the pollen is here? It took a little while, but, summer is on the horizon and the warmth of the weather has sprung the lil spring chicken out of me and turned me into a blossom again!!! I luv this warm air on my skin... i have needed it for waaaay too long :) enjoy this pollen this year- it is a symbol of regeneration and regrowth... peeling layers away from the cobwebs and bringing life force back to our senses... it gives us a reason to reflect on the cold winter months and it gives us a reason to remember we are alive!!!!!!
This is an old poem I wrote... I remembered I had one that spoke about pollen... when I got in my truck after work yesturday and saw the pollen, I was reminded of what I would bring to my blog next- smiles :)
As the pollen blows above and around
It dusts the rooftops and the ground
Blowing free amongst the mountains
Letting the wind decide, and I count and I count
The days I had wished that I could be the pollen and be dished
To whom and wherever I simply please
If I could wonder this earth with ease
Imagine the beautiful things I could see
While I swarm with grace but the speed of a bee
Stopping wherever I chose to land
And roaming around touching everyone’s hand
A seahorse as such is one with this confidence
And would not budge a currant for and instant
Isn’t it a blessing to do what you want
Without the worry of hitting something blunt?
People live to dream of this life
But why dream if you yourself could entice
This beauteous freedom as a gift to you
And actually breathe the air, DO
You think you would be able to let go
Of the leash that bounds you and prevents your flow
To what do you think you owe your entrapment?
Have you gotten anything from them? Have they sent
You a reward to compliment your effort?
If not, then, shit! Rip off your work shirt!
I know in the end I made the right choice
I can’t hear it now, but there is a voice
That becomes louder as time will fly
And before you know it, a year has gone by!
A new life with new work and all
Gifting me with good karma from my fall.
All the hard work pays off in the end
And in return, to them you can send
A postcard describing how great it all is now
And they’ll be questioning, “we let her go? How?”
><)))*>...fishin food for thought...
