ETERNALLY DIGESTING A BEAUTIFUL TRUTH IN THE WAY OF BEING SIMPLE
I heard on 7am NPR this morning that historically, on this day, the strars and stripes flag was born. At first, I thought, wow, huh. And then I remember what this means. Essentially, it is what you make of it, but, having not been raised here, I feel different about patriotism. I went back into the archives and found this poem from when Mr. Bush was elected, ohhhh some, 11 years ago. It's pretty funny. I had a different less refined style back then. But, the point is clear. I remember, things always change, I am responisble, I plant my seed, I am what i sew, I started it and I can finnish it, I am I am I am an
ABSENTEE
I’m feeling so alone, or am I an absentee?
Should I mail in for my ballot,
Or accept the guarantee
That I believed the truth would come
Instead, I just wait to hear what becomes the sum.
It is beyond me now- what I await
I thought for sure, it wasn’t too late
To make the change that really does count
It was incredible, this is the amount?
People wake up! Can’t you see what has happened, or is it me?
Retaliation can sometimes work, without it, we’d go bizzurque!
A voice was given to us as a tool
To use and develop ripples in a pool of tides
That will wash us away if we don’t stand up and fuckin say
Something that can really matter
Believe me, there will shatter a time much larger than before-
It’s called, we let him continue with the war.
Your time will come when the windmill sways
And pushes a gust to cloud your days.
Regret will become you and you will need a friend
And where will you go? Who will lend
That helping hand to which you are in need…
You will turn to us, oh indeed
But we are busy building our gardens to survive,
The technological Armageddon that killed our honey and hive
Well now our vegetables are sewn and ready to eat
While you hunger and worry about how to deal with your defeat
The tables have turned- and now we have become
The reason you wish you voted as
WE ALL THINK THEREFORE WE ARE ALL ONE!!!!
><)))*>...fishin food for thought...
