UNSTRAP YOURSELF

I decided to take the plundge, and see what a blog could do to help me link a series of thoughts together and research a way into the growing necessity for truth. By adding Unstrapped to the blog culture, I hope to share a perspective that will lead us to question our attachments which create a desire to own that which we idolize. I also want to bring up political and social diconnectivity. What are the issues we face today that mould us into who we are ideologically? Can we review our outlook? Can we learn to perceive in other ways? Is it possible to live a complete and simple life, and give others the respect of individualism? Through spoken word, rhyme, art, simply you, and prose- I invite readers to contribute their own stories and experiences. Is the weight of the world and it's incongruances in your head? Are you feeling tied down to someone or something? Are you feeling devoid of a sense of independence? Are you free, and want to share the freedom virus? Can you let go of your attachments and join a truly unstrapped world? More importantly, can you be real and true to yourself? If we can express ourselves freely, we can help each other come to a place of ease. Use this blog as a peaceful sanctuary where you can find a place to clear your mind and discover a refreshing new way to live! Through your interest here, we can get together and make this happen! The point? Spread this around like FIYA! Wear it with a smile that melts the layers away from the strapped. Let's talk about things that don't connect!

Spoon Fed

Spoon fed through a bottle with a full speed throttle

For some reason, when I opened the book, this was the first thing that came to me and I decided to stick with it. I'm not sure how it applies to anything I intended, but, when I think about it with more depth, I get a sense that convention allows us to grow nurtured with a false pretense of common denominators of social adeptness. Take what you are fed, and get on out> could be a way to interpret that. Divuldge in the little pleasures you are deceived into believing are "treats" to keep you going and prevent you from asking questions to the who, what, where, when, and especially, HOW this planet and its answer makers operates! How do we come to terms with understanding where it is we come from and where it is we are going. Build a common spirit that people can consume, and lead them to believe thru a false sense of fear. I got in trouble in 6th grade Chem. for asking too many questions. I mean, tell a 12 yr old that mixing all those elements together could do funny things to a human mind, and not tell him/her how or why is certainly going to lead me to question everything that comes my way, and perhaps want to try for myself! I was put on this planet to question. I'm sticking with it.

How was my spelling? Question it.

PARALLELS

An oldy, but goody...

Where two parallels meet,
Well, It’s no treat,
Not all the time
But once in a while you lose your mind
And in the sense of it all,
Was it worth the marshmallow wall?
She put it up in hopes to recover a more esoteric way to hover
Off the earth’s tumultuous ground
Have you ever heard that humming sound?
The one that can take a few comprehensions
And no, there are no extensions
To relieve you of this unbearable pressure
That welds up inside, it’s just pure
And when you hear it, tell me it’s a sign
Initiating an influence over your distress
And influence of the essence of freedom and it’s mine
It’s something I’ve needed but that one guess
I made was error and the escape was unfortunate
A meltdown waiting to drape my serenity with a taste
Of bittersweet memories of time and place, people and ocular treat
That is something I can’t ignore
But if I cradle it, that door will open partially
Attempting to trick
My now obsidian vision of the questions
Why and how did it happen?
I will lick the oblivion into a here and now approach-
Coming back to my senses
In order to produce a turn from other dense’s
It’s me here-
and I am free
I will conquer to cluttered mental purge and feed the need
To recognize my right to surge!

DESIRE

the world is full of endless possibilities. Never take any moment for granted regardless of how you choose to spend it. Realize the gift of time and know its up to ourself to change that which we can. We can give the gift of giving away without the fear of attachment, but, we have to understand we have that within us. I will give away up to the time i have finely been gifted.

The power of perception in a world of deception
Or try and inspire the word desire
Two questions to discover,
An answer or a satisfaction
That will last a while,
Or, until the next distraction.
Have if you will the gift of experience,
In a world that’s eggy and comes with deliverance.
I deliver to be a fine history, a rapture, tone capture of earthly delights
A truth and a see’r despite of what it is.
My reception is skeptical,
Wary of the moment when it all
Ceased to be puuuuuuuure.
My appetite became insecure,
And unwilling to taste the fruitful bounty.
I’m in a Pocahontas county prism, if you will.
Taste the rainbow,
Or, perhaps- I’ll stand up and groooooow.

DELUX

Every once in a while things just don't make sense. No matter how hard you blaze through the thought bin, there is no explanation! At this moment, I feel I can comprehend the meaning behind most excursions, but, in memory of the countless majority of time I can't, here's to you, mr. whut?

Habitualization of a one tone nation-
Bursting with breeds, whining delusional needs
Of whippits and tickets that teach us to hate,
Discriminate,
But alleviate the crime and hold on to your mind.
Try to find and equation, an invasion of passivity.
A truce, a spoof of our imagination-
Swinging on a prickly version of a strange excursion.
Haven’t found time to prove the unity.
Always a tick that sticks.
It’s a ruined delux. Need an influx of what?
Tell me, what do you see dub masta jee?

FLOW

Om not on the go,
Om on the flow you know.
It’s the black crow that shrieked a complete freak of nature.
It’s not the cure and now I’m sure those inhibitions,
Time turned into intuitions.
And to honor my fruition
Into a new beginning where I’m not spinning on the point of a top
That’s winning the award for revolutions
And personal bombastic
Intrusions.
And this delusion,
Wake me up I did indeed
And fight for the speed to the next best pit stop…
Hippity hop hop.

DUST

SO- have you noticed the pollen is here? It took a little while, but, summer is on the horizon and the warmth of the weather has sprung the lil spring chicken out of me and turned me into a blossom again!!! I luv this warm air on my skin... i have needed it for waaaay too long :) enjoy this pollen this year- it is a symbol of regeneration and regrowth... peeling layers away from the cobwebs and bringing life force back to our senses... it gives us a reason to reflect on the cold winter months and it gives us a reason to remember we are alive!!!!!!
This is an old poem I wrote... I remembered I had one that spoke about pollen... when I got in my truck after work yesturday and saw the pollen, I was reminded of what I would bring to my blog next- smiles :)

As the pollen blows above and around

It dusts the rooftops and the ground
Blowing free amongst the mountains
Letting the wind decide, and I count and I count
The days I had wished that I could be the pollen and be dished
To whom and wherever I simply please
If I could wonder this earth with ease
Imagine the beautiful things I could see
While I swarm with grace but the speed of a bee
Stopping wherever I chose to land
And roaming around touching everyone’s hand
A seahorse as such is one with this confidence
And would not budge a currant for and instant
Isn’t it a blessing to do what you want
Without the worry of hitting something blunt?
People live to dream of this life
But why dream if you yourself could entice
This beauteous freedom as a gift to you
And actually breathe the air, DO
You think you would be able to let go
Of the leash that bounds you and prevents your flow
To what do you think you owe your entrapment?
Have you gotten anything from them? Have they sent
You a reward to compliment your effort?
If not, then, shit! Rip off your work shirt!
I know in the end I made the right choice
I can’t hear it now, but there is a voice
That becomes louder as time will fly
And before you know it, a year has gone by!
A new life with new work and all
Gifting me with good karma from my fall.
All the hard work pays off in the end
And in return, to them you can send
A postcard describing how great it all is now
And they’ll be questioning, “we let her go? How?”
